Paving the way for future female leaders in the industry, Julia Machlin is our 2021 RMIT / Hacer Group Women in Construction scholarship recipient.

“I feel very proud and happy to be the 2021 recipient of this award. It’s such an incredible opportunity to be a part of the Hacer team and be able to work in an environment where I feel supported and encouraged to succeed.”

What advice would Julia give her younger self? “…to not fear new experiences but to embrace them; and to remind myself that I am a capable and dedicated person who will be able to succeed by being enthusiastic, hardworking, and a little bit lucky.”
