“Since commencing at Hacer Group I have thoroughly enjoyed being a part of a friendly and positive work community. Coming straight from university, I have been supported by Hacer to grow not only in terms of my construction knowledge and understanding but also personally with my confidence, self-assurance and communication skills developing. In the Graduate Programme I have already had the opportunity to be exposed to projects flowing from the design department through to live site jobs. These experiences are all helping me to gain an understanding of what is required for the successful completion of a commercial construction project."
“During my time in Hacer’s Grad programme I was exposed to all phases of a project. Starting off at the beginning in the estimating department learning and understanding the process of winning jobs through to live construction on site, coordinating trades, letting packages as well as learning the roles and responsibilities of a CA. This went hand in hand with learning the OHS & QA requirements progressing onto project finalisation with defects identification/rectification as well as Authority/Consultant handover requirements.
The full support of site teams and management has helped expand my construction methodology but also personal skills such as communication, problem solving and detailing. This has given me the confidence to continue to grow into a CA within Hacer’s enjoyable working environment."
“Since commencing the Hacer Graduate Program I have enjoyed working on a range of projects as a part of the construction team. The diversity of Hacer’s projects has allowed me to work in commercial, retail and apartment construction giving me a greater understanding of the differences involved within each sector. Throughout the process, I have been supported by experienced colleagues who have helped me develop a deeper understanding of the construction industry and given me the knowledge and skill set required to deliver successful projects."
