Somerset Bunker Pour
The Hacer team at Somerset Private Hospital have been working tirelessly on the planning and preparation required to ensure the concrete pour of the radiology bunker is completed without any issues.
With over 30t of steel reinforcement and 880t of concrete, there is no room for error. This is one of only 3 suspended radiology bunkers in Australia.
The concrete pour which took place on Friday 10 May, went smoothly and serves a testament to all the time and effort leading up to the main event.
The team remains busy forming the 2.2m thick walls and lid, which we expect to pour over the next 2 weeks.
