The Carlton Housing Redevelopment, one of the largest public and private housing redevelopments in Victoria, is across 3 inner city sites in Carlton covering an area of 7.5 hectares. When completed, the redevelopment will incorporate 246 new social housing apartments, approx. 700 new private apartments, a 136 bed aged-care facility, and approximately 180 independent living units.

Stage 6 of the Carlton Housing Redevelopment is located in the Lygon/Rathdowne Street precinct, bounded by Colgan St. to the north, Neill St. to the south and Rathdowne St. to the east. The project consists of the construction and design of 3 basement carparking levels, with 9 levels above, housing 143 private apartments. The development includes a communal courtyard and a BBQ on Level 9.  

The project was completed in February 2017.
