The Point Cook Boardwalk was the second stage of Walker Corp's creation of the Point Cook Town Centre - a project designed to cater to the growing population of Melbourne's outer-west. The project comprised of street-side strip shopping, undercover walkways and a village atmosphere designed to encourage local residents to meet. The precinct also included a purpose-built Town Square with a public entertainment space, alfresco dining areas, and an underground carpark for 250.
