With an expansive common foyer, specialist tenancies, a three-level car park and landscaped areas, this landmark medical centre was designed to service Melbourne’s growing outer north. The building’s base structure is made up of conventional concrete slabs, precast concrete panels and structural steel. During construction, the team had to reengineer the façade to accommodate for extreme wind loads. Specialist tenants such as MIA Victoria, Willandra Medical Clinic and Physio First signed on during construction – bringing with them specialised and individual services and structural needs.
