With a timely visit to our shores, Ho Bee Land's Hock Chong and Nicholas Chua accompanied by Sinclair Brook's Steven Tucker and Adam Smith witnessed the final concrete pour at the top of the tallest of the five buildings that comprise the Pearl Doncaster development.
The significant ancient olive tree was ceremoniously taken to the top and planted to signify the milestone achievement. Members from the Consultant and Project Teams were also in attendance, including the Project Architect Gemma James and Associate Angelo Pignalosa from Rothe Lowman Architects, Ryan Tanner of ADP Consulting, Mark Lewis Associate Director and Construction Manager from Hacer Group, Brendan Gaunt, Simon Sung, Tony Garifallou, Denis Duong* and Riccardo Pulvirenti* (* absent from photo) from the Hacer site team . Hacer put on a lunch for the two hundred or so men who have contributed to getting the building to this stage.
A day earlier, the Prototype apartment was delivered for inspection and critique. It was received with positive feedback, the challenge ahead being to repeat that quality 182 more times. We congratulate all involved to date, and look forward to achieving the next milestone - completion in early 2016.
